Rupert is my baby boy. He was born to his mother, Sally, who was a rescue kitty, on July 28, 2017.
He loves laptime, cuddles, and sneaking into my sweet iced tea. He likes watching "Hey! Arnold" and "Sanjay & Craig". He is a gentle giant. I call him my little "Chucky Finster" (Rugrats) because he is a beautiful ginger boy with allergies, but he was named after Rupert Grint from "Harry Potter".

On Thursday, August 1st, 2024, I came home from work & went to find Rupert as I do every day. He came to me and I noticed his breathing seemed a bit labored. That seemed odd, so I decided to monitor him. As the evening progressed, he became increasingly worse. His breathing turned into gasping for air, and we headed to the ER vet with him. He is in an oxygen chamber to try and help.

Rupert is the sweetest, most gentle kitty. He loves everyone, and other kitties, as well. He has never displayed any aggression or a bad attitude towards anyone. He truly is a gentle giant.

I have no savings, & have been facing some major financial hardships, including unforseen health issues that came about after I lost my health insurance. Rupert's bill is estimated to be between $1300-$1800. He had an acute Asthma attack, & will need long-term treatment.
