About this campaign

We rescued him and his brother for my dad because he’s a 7 year pancreatic cancer survivor who is 69 years old and a Vietnam veteran. He’s also in need of constant help.He needed companions. To pass time and to bring him happiness.

VCA metzgers in state college
His medical issue is that he broke his growth plate in his knee and it requires an invasive surgery to put pins in it to hold it together and to straighten it out. It happened Thrusday night around 11 and we rushed him to metzgers in state college pa. They did a X-ray and informed us of the break.

Russel very special because he has 7 toes of each of his front feet giving him basically lobster claws looking front feet. He’s so lovable too everyone in the family but he loves to lay on my dads chest and giving kisses

My dad is on a fixed income through the VA the surgery cost upwards of 4,100 dollars. Which is double his monthly income. The only other option is to amputate with is the cheapest option but we want the best for him.
