Ryder is a 13 year old Border Collie in Columbus, OH, who needs $2,000 for IVDD Treatment MRI & Possible Surgery.

Back in 2012 my then boyfriend and I had just moved into an apartment together and we had been dating for about a year and decided to start looking for a puppy. I went onto craigslist and I saw little Ryder and just had a gut feeling we had found our dog. I texted the number on the ad right away and drove 2 hours south to pick him up. He curled up on my shoulder and was there the entire way home.

We need help, on Friday October 31st Ryder woke up from a nap and couldn't walk on his hind right paw. We took him to VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) on Easton right away. They gave him Gabapentin and an anti inflammatory to try and help the possible slipped disk or IVDD for now until we can get some answers. The issue is he needs an MRI to start with

Ryder is our everything, just writing this has me in tears. Ryder loves taking his toys to bed with him, he loves running, all you used to have to tell him is to "run" and he would sprint has fast he could. He loves his family, me, his daddy he definetly knows who everyone is and loves being with us

We have no emergency fund, no buffer. My husband just started new job and I'm currently a student. It would mean the world to us and to Ryder if he could have an MRI to figure out what's wrong and hopefully fix it. He has so much life left in him. Please help Ryder.
