About this campaign
His name is Ryder. He got that name because someone at my grandma's workplace discovered him while he was riding inside a car engine. My grandma then brought him to my mom, who decided to name him Ryder. Shortly after arriving home, we realized his poor little paws were burnt from the engine's heat. :( In the end, Ryder found a loving home where he could recover from his engine adventure :)
Ryder is a bit reserved around strangers but truly adores his family. We have three small dogs, and they all get along wonderfully. When he was a kitten, he used to playfully sneak attack my fox-faced Pomeranian, which was the cutest thing ever.
Ryder holds a unique place in our hearts as our one and only kitty. His quirk of loving to lounge on anything plastic never fails to bring a smile to our faces. What sets him apart is that he's not very vocal, only meowing when he truly needs something, such as food, water, or attention. While his strong and independent nature is admirable, there are times when we wish he'd be a bit more cuddly.
ryder got outside late one night and didn't return. We waited for 2 1/2 days before losing hope as he typically only stayed out for a day at most. After 4 days we found the poor little guy meowing for help :( He was dragging his left leg and a gouge about 3 inches long by his you know what, also a wide scratch on his right hip. we immediately took him to the emergency vet.
so the vet gave him stitches but said it would cost $5k to relocate his hip. He's a very young cat too :( Anyway, the emergency vet said to take him to a vet clinic as it would be cheaper, so we do.
The surgery cost $1k, but it wasn't successful due to severe muscle and sc
