Ryder is a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in San Antonio, TX, who needs $450 for Foreign Body Removal and Infection Management.

Ryder and I have been inseparable since he was 8 weeks old. A friend got him for her truck-driving companion, and I suggested the name Ryder. He rode in my lap the whole way home, but the next day, she realized she couldn’t keep him and asked if I could take him. That’s how Ryder became my best friend and lifelong companion.

My sweet Ryder has a painful paw infection caused by a piece of glass still lodged in it. Despite my efforts, it’s gotten worse, and he urgently needs vet care to remove the glass and treat the infection. The costs are beyond what I can afford right now, and seeing him in pain is heartbreaking. Ryder will be seen at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists where he has a been seen previously.

Ryder is an Emotional Support Animal and a Dad. He’s my best friend and my son’s big brother. Ryder loves to be outside and chase the squirrels. He’s a big fan of Pepperoni pizza and loves to cuddle. Ryder has a lot of curiosity and is always trying to learn new things. He’s a protector and a big baby at the same time.

I am currently participating in an unpaid externship to obtain my associates. My son is paying all our bills. It would mean so much to be able to have Ryder back to his playful self and not have to put more stress on my son due to the vet bill.
