Ryder is a 6 year old Chihuahua in Stockton, CA, who needs $2,000 for Fractured Leg and Dental Surgery.

February 16th, 2019. it was love at first sight! weighing all of maybe 1 pound Ryder, was the cutest puppy I had ever seen! it had been a hard couple of years, and depression had taken over my life. I felt like I needed a purpose I needed something to get me up out of bed every day. then came Ryder. it was like he cured me! all my sadness me feeling so alone, was gone! I was actually happy again!

October 19th, 2024. The worst day ever. Ryder was attacked by two huge bulldogs! if it wasn't for me getting in the middle of these two 80-pound dogs and my 10-pound Ryder, he would not be here with me today. I rushed him to the emergency vet with every penny to my name I was only able to afford the stiches needed to close up his chest. he was left with a fractured front leg.

Ryder has the most amazing personality. he steals everyone's heart that he meets he never leaves my side! the last 6 years have been nothing less than a nightmare. from escaping a very abusive relationship, being homeless and then watching my new boyfriend/best friend die from a heart attack, Ryder has been right there to lick my tears threw it all. I don't know what I'd do without him.

being a survivor of domestic violence, I'm still trying to get back on my feet but with the injury to my hand from the dogs that attacked Ryder and now being diagnosed with "drop wrist" I can't work and have no income. Ryders leg is still broken and needs dental work ASAP
