Saba is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Chambersburg, PA, who needs $700 for Tumor Removal Surgery.

Our Saba lives with 4 other cats and one dog. The cats are, including Saba, all strays. The vet recently found Saba has a tumor and she is losing weight rapidly. He can try to remove the tumor, he says, for around $500, but is afraid he won't be able to get it all because it is close to other vital organs. If she goes to a pet surgeon, it could be thousands.

Our cat Saba came into our life in our old neighborhood in PA. She was a stray kitten that just showed up at our door, out of all the rowhomes in the street, she picked ours! She is a sweet and loving cat who has a huge maternal instinct and always has been sort of a mother cat to our other cats....until she got suck after her beloved Roxy died. She was heartbroken.

She hasn't been the same after her beloved Roxy cat died. But she is still hanging in there, still cleaning herself and eating. But she is rapidly losing weight with the tumor growing. She is so sweet and special and has a very motherly way about her with our other cats.

It is not a great time for us financially, although exciting, because my son is going off to college as a freshman this fall. He's a great kid and has received some scholarships, but we are left holding the bag with much of the balance & my husband is having health issues
