Sabrina is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Greensboro, , who needs $1,500 for Exploratory Laparotomy.

Sabrina was found Outside, on May 30th, 2025, under a car, hiding from the pouring rain. She was extremely uncomfortable and quiet until I was close enough. Finally she meowed back but did not move. The only way to get her to come was to slowly move the car. She never once moved until she smelled the wet food. She was skin and bone, starving. This was just the beginning of a roller coaster.

The first vet she went to didn't give us solid answers, was put on antibiotics, panacur, prednisone for possible lungworm pneumonia or asthma since she was having labored breathing & coughing. Nothing worked. Americana Animal Hospital was able to determine she has an unknown obstruction in her abdomen. Causing her to have constipation, dehydration, low red blood cells, and an in infection.

Sabrina is an absolute sweet cat that loves attention. All she wanted was to be in our laps when we rescued her. Her favorite thing is to rub her face on her feet. Oh & absolutely LOVES real meat. She goes crazy when it comes to chicken or beef. Even steals my food!!! Only when she's feeling better, of course. She would tell us when she's hungry, will guide us to feed her.

Our family was never expecting to help her but God sent her to me. She is going to need surgery that may cost $1200 plus any pain meds and future check ups. Many people are hoping she makes it through to have a pain free, comfortable life, as I would, too.
