Sadie is a 11-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound in Brick, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Surgery - Breast Tumor Removal.

Sadie was a breeder dog in North Carolina. As she was getting older and outliving her usefulness, the breeder was going to end her life .she was rescued and brought up to New Jersey with other dogs. All the other dogs were adopted, leaving her alone I couldn’t just leave her there, so I decided to rescue her. Her surgery is scheduled for 11/16/23

Sadie has adjusted well to her new life, and her two new furry sisters. All my dogs are crate, trained and sleep in the same room. She loves exploring the yard and going for a walks, as well as adventures, visiting the neighbors, and going to the beach. Her tail wags all the time! After surgery Sadie will receive training to be a therapy canine

Sadie is certainly a hunter! She tracks all kinds of things in the yard sometime circling trees, and even trying to climb them! She has an awesome walk and prances throughout. She has plenty of spirit to learn and please.

I rescued Sadie knowing she had medial issues researching many places, I found Vogel veterinary clinic at Monmouth County ASPCA. Sadie has a large tumor in her mammary gland. It Hass to be removed as it is now splitting open, which can cause a bacterial infection on top of it. As of 11/11/23 bloodwork is normal. Surgery is scheduled for 11/16 /23.
