Sadie is a 6-year-old Chihuahua in San Antonio, TX, who needs $2,000 for Pyometra.

Sadie came into my life through my best friend she found her on the streets and took care of her until her cancer got really bad and she couldn’t care for her anymore. I took her in and Sadie has been with me for years now. My sister named her Sadie because my best friend tried to name her princess but didn’t stick haha. I have a cat also and he and her get along pretty well.

Sadie loves to sleep with me in my bed. It’s what she’s used to. She loves going on walks and likes to sunbathe until she’s had enough. She usually makes a crying sound when you don’t pay attention to her it’s so cute. She steals her snacks and thinks she’s sneaky. She’s very mischievous and intelligent. She loves laying on my chest. Her comfort spot is on my shoulder.

Sadie does not like male dogs at all. She will not let them near her. She likes to let everyone know she’s the boss by barking lol. She is scared of thunder, loves the rain, her teddy bear is her best friend along with her toy elephant. When you scratch near her butt she stays there enjoying the feel and if you move your hand she will run against your hand and wait there until you scratch her lol

Sadie is diagnosed with Pyometra. Her blood sugar is low. As was her white blood cell count. It’s a serious infection. I am very devastated that she is suffering from the infection. She isn’t her happy self. She’s very down and thankfully she walks to me and wants to be on my shoulder which is her comfort place. She’s a fighter. I’m at the Great Northwest Animal Hospital here for her surgery.

I lost my job. I’ve been trying to find work and it’s not easy. My sister is the one working but doesn’t make so much and we had already paid our bills so we were left with very little. I got denied the loan and credit. I just want my baby healthy again. Please help.
