Sadie is a 17-year-old Egyptian Mao Cat in Slingerlands, NY, who needs $550 for Full Work Up- Testing, Blood Pressure Treatment & Skin Infection Treatment.

Sadie was abandoned as a kitten w/ her mother almost 18 yrs ago. My aunt took in her brother & I was blessed to gain a best friend. After college Sadie was able to live w/ me permanently. She’s always been active & loving. Suddenly she’s started experiencing health issues & needs bloodwork & testing to find the cause of the issues w/ her eyes & balance. She’s SWEET, but a FIGHTER!

Sadie is the favorite family member! Before her vision issues I called her my shadow bc she followed me everywhere. She’s a cuddle bug & sleeps on my chest or pillow every night. I can’t sleep without her.. She’s my baby & best friend.

She has cute quirks like often cupping her paw to drink water. She knows English well & despite being a cat can sit, jump up, & go on hind leg upon request. Her personality is loyal & we call her a cat-dog bc of her social tendencies.

Unfortunately Sadie got a hot spot that became infected. Currently I am only able to afford care for the skin issues but she needs medication, testing, & blood work to determine the issues with her eyes & rule out any neurological problems or other serious issues. She will be receiving future care at Just Cats Clinic when enough funds are raised.

I was recently laid off. Things are difficult but my cat’s health & quality of life are of the utmost importance to me. I can’t imagine a world w/out my fur baby. I’m trying not to be sad for Sadie but it’s been hard. She keeps me going & smiling & she deserves all the best!
