About this campaign

Sadie is my first rescue girl. She found me in New York state while I was shopping for cat food. She has been my best buddy for the last 7 years. We have had many adventures together. Sadie joined my house with my cat, Rudy, in April, 2015. Since then, we have lived in Florida, Colorado and Wisconsin.

Sadie loves her morning walks through our neighborhood. Squirrels are her ultimate nemesis. We have chased many away to protect our home. She loves going to see her Uncle Judd and running beside his four wheeler. She sleeps in the bed with mom and her 2 new rescue brothers. Her baby is Bella, the kitten who joined us 3 years ago.

Sadie loves the dog park, where she always makes tons of friends. She becomes a 70 pound lap dog when it is storming outside. She loves the snow and would stay out all day if I let her. She always sits at my feet when I am cooking or baking, hoping I might drop something. I can't imagine coming home without her wagging her whole body when she sees me come in the house.

Sadie developed a lump on her face this week. She didn't seem to be in any pain but I wanted to get it checked out. Dr. Abby Ben-Zikri at Hsles Corners Veterinary Clinic said that she broke a tooth and has an access. She will need anesthesia to do the extraction. She is responding to the antibiotics for the infection.

I am a teacher, so I don't make a lot of money. Our basic needs are met, but I have no emergency fund or disposable income. The critters and I moved back to Wisconsin about a year ago, and I am still catching up financially.
