Sadie is my beautiful, faithful 12 yr old rescued yellow Lab mix. She is a gentle senior dog who has been my absolute rock through thick and thin. We live together in Wheaton, IL, with my teen daughter. Her favorite thing in the world is taking long walks with us, and rolling around in the grass or snow. Despite her age, her tail never stops wagging. She is our family and constant companion.

Weeks after paying $1,300 for a face mass removal, Sadie developed new tumor-like growths. Our vet at village Animal Clinic suspects perianal adenoma or carcinoadenoma. They are ulcerated, bleeding and causing discomfort. The team at the clinic wants to perform immediate surgery to remove the growths and biopsy them for cancer. Knowing either way what they are will guide me to help Sadie.

Sadie is an incredibly special dog who brings joy to everyone she meets. She is gentle, intuitive, smart and full of vigor. Even now, while dealing with these new growths, she still pushes herself to take 1-2 mile walks with us. She has a beautiful soul and so much love left to give; our home would be completely empty without her.
