Sadie was my birthday present from my husband in December 2015. She was born November 22 and we brought her home 1/2/2016. We have an older Black Lab (Bobbi Mae) and she was so lonely and would cry when neighbors would walk by with their dogs.I told my husband she needed a playmate and I wanted to start looking. He was off one day and he went and found Sadie.

Sadie is the sweetest dog. She is always so happy and wiggles all the time. Her mother rejected her and her brother when they were born. The lady we got her from bred Boston terriers. She had a litter and placed the 2 labs in with those puppies and the mother fed them too. They were so cute in with those little terriers.

Sadie loves stuffed animals. She lays with them and kinda sucks on them when she sleeps at times. I have been told it’s because she was rejected by her mother as a puppy. She is just the happiest dog and follows me everywhere. I love it! I have been working from home for 19 months and the dogs are my coworkers and my best friends.

Sadie seems to have torn her cruciate ligament. She was limping, now she is holding it up more. Our other lab had this surgery a few years ago. I’m still paying Care Credit for her surgery. I know Sadie needs the same and have heard that the Fox Lake Animal Hospital is reasonably priced. I will be scheduling her surgery there.

My husband has been going through chemo treatments since Jan of this year. I’ve been working from home for 19 months now due to Covid. I work for an electrical supply house and business has not been great this year. I usually have nice bonuses but not this year.
