About this campaign

My little fur baby came to me from Stray Cat Alliance. I came across his profile and read his about me and instantly fell in love. He was partially deaf and blind and needed a loving home. His looks had my heart from the first time I saw him but when I met him with his foster parent, I knew he was mine.

Sagé is much more an introvert. He is a homebody and is very anxious given his partial blindness and deafness. As much as he is anxious, he is still fearless. He has the walk to prove it! But when he is in a calm state and is aware of his surroundings, he is a love bug who just wants to be pet or rocked like a baby.

The vet wasn't keeping me in the loop but between all the tests, sedation since he has nervous breakdowns around vets, and medicine my total was 591. I didnt expect that and Im on unemployment which is 300 every 2 weeks and my credit cards are maxed out.

My uncle had passed at the beginning of February and I went to go and be with family in Arizona for a week. My neighbor checked in on him and spent lots of time with him while I was gone. When i came back i noticed he went to the litter a lot. I counted how many times he went in an hour and it was 8 times. I grew extremely concerned, took him to the VET and it turned out to be a UTI.

Sagé's spirit animal is a french man who enjoys croissants. I use to a barista &when I would bring home croissants, I made a mistake leaving it on my kitchen table &as soon as I heard him get into my bag, I never seen such bliss in a cat! Every time that I bring them home, just from the smell and sound of the bag, he skips over as fast as he can. From that day on, he went from sage to Sagé.
