Sage has been part of our family for 10 years now. She came from an animal shelter in Wisconsin and was a wonderful addition and companion to my one cat named Tinker. Sage was about 6 months when we got her and an energetic little fur ball and a perfect playmate for Tinker who was almost 2 years old. She is a very affectionate cat and loves lots of play time. She is a beloved part of our family.

Sage and Tinker both enjoying going out on the back patio on leashes soaking up the sun and nibbling on the grass. She also loves to hang out on the enclosed porch with all the windows open watching all the birds chirping in the yard. Sage LOVEs to get attention and combed with her pink brush. She purrs and rolls around so you don’t miss any spots. She has the cutest chirp like purring sounds.

Sage is definitely a talker. She talks to me all day long. Mom is it time for breakfast yet! Chirp, Chirp, Meow. She is funny and if the mailman comes while she is on the porch she will growl at him as he puts the mail in the slot. My little guard kitty. Her purring is one of my favorites with the little chirp and rumblings sounds she makes. So content and happy.

Sage had a small tumor removed in 2017 with great success. All was good until early this year she developed another mass. With the vet monitoring it the size was growing so she had it removed. Soon after complications began. High fever, infection, severe cellulitis around incision and diabetes. She has been in and out of UW Vet Hospital for the past 30 days. This has become a long term problem.

I am disabled with a very limited income. Sage is my family so I have been using credit cards to pay so far but the payments are becoming beyond my monthly budget. I just cannot give up on her now. She is getting better but it will take a bit more time.
