Sage entered our lives in May 2019. She's been with us through state moves, different scenery and hilarious moments. She currently lives in Richmond Va.

Sage is in need of emergency surgery for prevent a tear of her intestines due to a linear foreign object. We're trying to keep her comfortable as we do our best to find the funds for surgery.

Our favorite thing about Sage is she's a talkative squawker. Not one to meow, she announces her presence with a squawk and a demand for pets. She's fiesty, clumsy and a ball of cuddly silliness. She's a big part of our family and we want to get her the care she needs as soon as possible.

This is an unexpected surgery during a time of living paycheck to paycheck. As a single mom of 1 human and two pets, trying to balance this news along with the financial concern is weighing heavy on my heart.
