About this campaign

We found Salem in 2022 as a small kitten, alone near a construction site. Despite trying to find his mom, no one came forward and we gladly took him into our family. When he was 1, he was brutally attacked by 4 large dogs that broke into our yard. Instead of lifelong paralysis, he beat all odds and restored his health. This time around, Salem has a urinary blockage that risks his life.

Salem is a very chill boy, who loves belly rubs and cuddling with his best kitty friend, Sabrina. He's always excited to meet people, pets, and try new things. He's never afraid to tell you exactly what he wants! His best human, our 3 year old daughter, has a very special bond with him and he enjoys sleeping on her bed at night.

Salem enjoys nature walks with his family and a good meal. He is very vocal, loves a good chat. Though he has been through a lot, he is just as caring and loving as always. He LOVES catnip and does a hilarious little dance for it. Everything that he does makes us happy.

Salem is currently in critical care at Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty and Emegency in Gig Harbor, WA. They are working diligently to assess his needs. They were able to locate his urinary blockage quickly and we are waiting to hear if he has any internal damage to his kidneys.

We have currently expensed $3800, which totals our emergency fund. We do not currently have any more funds to pay for any complications that may arise, or the rest of his current bill. It means more than anything to bring our boy home, and will do ANYTHING for him.
