About this campaign
Salem was given to my daughter when her other cat passed away from epilepsy. He is an emotional support animal for her. Since he's been in our lives, she has been doing well with her mental health. He's so very lovable and loves to cuddle. I'm not working right now due to health issues and just had major surgery. Both my kids have been laid off as well. So we're struggling a bit.
When my daughter is having a rough day he already knows. He'll come right up to her and talks to her in his own little way. He actually helps all of us including myself and my youngest daughter. We have 2 other cats in our house and he's the clown of the bunch.
Salem loves to talk and we talk back. He also likes to chase his own tail like a dog. Not to mention, he also does what we call the army crawl. We play with him and he even has a walking harness like his big brother, Pumpkin.
Salem was hiding under the couch one day and wasn't acting himself. He was also meowing this high pitched sound. I knew something was wrong immediately. We took him to his vet, which is, Tri County Vet, Clyde McMillan, for a blockage in his urethra. We caught it in time.
I'm not working due to health issues and had major surgery done. I don't qualify for credit cards and we have no emergency funding to help us with this bill. We just have no way of paying it off. The vet office wanted us to make payments in two months and we just don't have
