Salem is a 1 month old Mix-Breed in wake forest, NC, who needs $800 for Salems Leg Amputation.

Salem was rescued outside of a friends house, we finally caught him and saw his leg was dragging behind him. We immediately were concerned and lucky enough to get generous donations to get his exam and xrays. Hes so sweet and he has so so much love to give.

We took him to franklinton animal hospital on 8/18 and got his exam and x-rays where it was revealed that he had a fracture in his pelvic region, on the left side where his leg connects. The doctor said the most ethical and financial friendly option is going to be to amputate.

Despite his fracture, he's the spunkiest little guy. He loves our other cats, plays with toys, and chases his tail in circles which blew my mind. He loves soft blankets and snuggling on the bed, and his purrs are louder than even our adult cats!

Finding Salem was unexpected, and then discovering the extent of his injury was even more of a shock. We have alot of bills - as we all do, money is tight for us right now and we have no fall back, but we want to get him the help he deserves.
