Salty is a rescue who came to me 3 years ago from Facebook. He is 11 years old and is in desperate need of dental care. In the last few months, he lost 3 front teeth and has issues with eating. Due to Covid, I lost my job and now clean houses to make ends meet. Money was being put aside for his care; however, I found out I need surgery ASAP and no longer have the funds to help him.

Salty's life is amazing. He has a new brother, Charlie Brown, a rescue. He is 10 years old and has the energy of an energizer bunny. Charlie Brown keeps a spring in Salty's step. They love going to the dog park to see all their friends, chasing squirrels and each other. Salty's favorite past time is digging holes anywhere he can.

Salty is a very special dog. Having had many rescues, I know he is among the smartest and most loyal of all the dogs I have had. He stares at me adoringly and howls when he's excited to see you. Salty has a special seat in the Jeep so he can look out. Once we are on the dirt road to the park, he loves to stand on the window sill to get the breeze in his face.

I know little about Salty's medical history before he came to me. He is up to date on all shots, heartworm, and flea/tick medication. His veterinarian is at a low cost clinic, The PetVet in Bradenton, Fl. The doctor says he's in great health except for his teeth. I know it hurts him to eat. Salty is at a critical point now; if not taken care of ASAP, he might develop heart issues.

Due to the pandemic, I lost my corporate job. Now I am in need of assistance to help Salty. I appreciate anything that is donated. His welfare is more important than my own. I need him to be safe and healthy to help me during my own health recovery.
