Sam is a 9-year-old Shepherd Mix in Vista , CA, who needs $1,000 for Biopsy.

This is my grand dog, we got her as a puppy but she lived with my son up until the last few months when he became jobless and lives out of his car, so I’m trying to take care of her just like she takes care of me by brightening my day every time I walk thru the door. I want to try to take care of her and I’m trying to provide a good home for her but I’m struggling a bit myself.

Sam loves to go outside and for car rides. She sleeps with me in my bed and uses me as her personal pillow. She loves sitting in the kitchen with me when I’m cooking she hopes I’ll drop something

Sam always knows when I’m stressed and upset and she will just lay her head on my shoulder or my lap and that makes me smile and feel better, she thinks she’s a lap dog lol

She hadn’t been taken to the vet in many years so I took her for the first time and got her shots and then I took her when she started to scratch her eyes and she was very nervous and wasn’t sure about being there so the vet couldn’t fully exam her, both of her eyes are swollen and scabby and she needs to have a biopsy.

It’s so sad to look at her she’s so uncomfortable, she seems so sad. I don’t make a lot of money but I really want to help her so she she’s ok again
