Hi, this is my best buddy and my world Samantha. I rescued her from an abusive home 2 years ago. She was in a pretty bad shape but I’ve spend a lot to get her to this point. She is now well adjusted and very much a part of my family and the thought of losing her will sure be very hard on me because I’m very attached to her.

She is my world, she my best friend and companion. I was at a place I’m my life when I rescued and ever since we found each other we have been inseparable. She’s is loved by everyone living on the block and by family and friends. We can say she’s a little diva, she enjoys play with the kids and going for long walks.

She is like an animal support dog to me, no matter how low I feel or how bad my day is just seeing her and being with her makes everything okay. She is also very protective of me. I’m happy the day that I chose to rescue her because she have become my little best friend and a very important part of my family.

Early this year Samantha was diagnosed with a Luxating Patella. Since then it’s gotten worst to the point where she can no longer walk on her right hind leg and need surgery. The medication that the vet prescribed is no longer working . The hospital is North Shore Animal Hospital in Lynn, MA and Dr. Elieen Balz is the treating veterinarian.

I’m currently working but on a fixed income, at time even working overtime doesn’t make enough to pay the bills. I’m currently behind on my electric and gas. It would mean a whole lot to me to see her pain free and walking again. I can’t bear to see her crying and in pain.
