Samantha Harvey came into our lives as a hurricane rescue from Hurricane Harvey and was brought north through Magnificent Mutts in search of a forever home. Through every chapter, Samantha has given us unwavering loyalty, comfort, and joy. She is my first pup and I cannot put into words what she means to our family. Despite the pain she is currently in, she still greets us with a smile and love

Samantha has recently been diagnosed with a torn ACL, a painful orthopedic injury that severely limits her ability to walk, run, and enjoy the simple activities that once brought her so much happiness. At 75 pounds, this injury is especially debilitating for her size and strength. Without surgical repair, she faces chronic pain, worsening arthritis, and the risk of permanent mobility loss.

Samantha has walked with us through some of the most difficult seasons of our lives. She comforted us through the heartbreaking loss of a pregnancy, during the isolation of the COVID lockdown, and gave us strength during the loss of a job and the passing of beloved family members. When we brought our daughter home, she instantly became her gentle guardian. She welcomed our second rescue as her own

Our family is currently facing significant financial hardship. With costs of two rescues, ongoing living expenses, previous unexpected medical bills, we do not have the means to cover Samantha’s surgery on our own. We are committed to giving her the care she needs & deserves
