About this campaign
Sammie was given to id from a family friend, he was the second puppy from the same litter. We named him Samael due to his ability to "resurrect" from a deep sleep at the mere sign of food. Such as being in the kitchen and boom! There he was, wide awake and alert for scraps.
Sammie loves to take long, leisurely walks where he can explore to his heart's content. Because he is apartment bound, he enjoys going out 3 times a day and the rest he spends napping as he doesn't really care for toys.
Not much for games, toys, or friends, he loves peanut butter snacks, sighing heavily as if his life was terribly worry-filled, and trying new veggies and fruit treats. Naps are his number one priority.
He was recently diagnosed with a lymphoma which has tangled intricately within his leg's muscle. We were given options of let the mass grow until Humane euthanasia was necessary or amputation with a good prognosis and quality of life. Since I could keep him alive, pain free, and healthy as a 12 year old dog could be I decided to amputate.
I had an emergent medical need arise which used up a lot of my funds, following a very recent move to a new apartment complex where Sammie could have more open space to spend his days gazing out and people watching.
