My best friend Sammy came into my life 6 years ago. I was alone and wanted a companion and a friend's dog had puppies and was rehoming them. The day my life started was the day I got Sammy. Sammy and I have been together since he was 8 weeks old. We are currently homeless because of domestic violence

In September of this year I took Sammy to the vet for a wellness check up and found out he has thyroid problems. He's gained 25 pounds and is loosing his fur on his tail, stomach,and bottom.

Sammy is such a smart dog and loves to play with his squeaky toys. He loves everyone he's silly and goofy and is constantly making me laugh. He loves to cuddle and give kisses

Before Sammy's thyroid was bad he was such an energetic boy we would go on long walks but now he barely wants to go out and he walks so slow. It kills me to see him so slow and having no energy. I miss our daily long walks
