Sammy is a 2-year-old German Shepard in Hubbard lake , MI, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Sammy came into our lives by search adopt a pet.com. My boyfriend grew up with a German Shepard and we wanted to add a dog to our home. We found Sammy online and saw videos and pictures of her. However, when she was 7 months old, she jumped out of her owner's vehicle, and she broke her leg. We felt for her and as soon as we seen her fell in love!

She is the only dog. She is very spoiled loves to go for walks and car rides. We live on 80 acres with a pond. Sammy loves to swim in it on a hot day! We go camping in the summer which she loves. We take her to the Lake in the Summer, and she enjoys that as well. She is the best dog anyone can ask for. She especially loves to get treats and play fetch in the summer.

She makes both of us smile and laugh. The best part is when the snickers commercial comes on the TV and she starts barking at the tv and whining. She also anytime a dog comes on the TV she has to sit right in front of it and bark. She also makes us laugh when anytime we eat popcorn she will set her head but only the tip of her nose on the chair to where you can just see this black spot.

Old owner had Sammy jump out of his vehicle and she broke her leg. He didn't get it fixed properly and now it fused together on its own which she is fine with but, due to medication she needs blood work. Now she has something else going on with her and were not sure what. She is losing clumps of hair and not herself. She isn't energetic like she normally is. We use Switzer Vet Clinic in Alpena MI.

Covid hit both of us financially hard and with everything going up we just can't afford to take her to the vet until everything comes down. It will mean so much to us to be able to actually have her interact with us and have her be herself again. I miss that Sammy
