Sampson is a 8-year-old Lab in Sikeston , MO, who needs $953 for Heartworm Treatment.

Sammy lives in the country in a 3 bedroom house, he's mainly indoor, and other dogs he plays with my his small neighborhood. He also lives with a cpl of cats and an old lady dog moxie who has no interest in him.

Sampson aka Sammy, was a drop off in my neighborhood. We found him around December, we let him come in because it was cold outside, but realized quickly he was house broken, listened well and he decided we were his people.

Sammy instantly took to my other dog Jax, they played well together. In January Jax manage to get caught up in some bobbed wire in his inner thigh, we got him stitched up well and treated for infection before it started. Set Sampson up with an an appt to be fixed and vetted march 4th but was cancelled because Jax had another emergency and he passed at the vets that day

Rescheduled Sampson for his shots and neutering, and ran a heartworm test to start prevention. Unfortunately he tested positive, we still got him neutered and all his shots, and started HW meds. Between Jax and Sammy's vet bills I'm quickly going broke. I was quoted about 953 for his heartworm treatment, Its not all at once but it's more than I can afford since I've already spent over a 1000

My struggle is to many emergencies in a short time with 2 dogs. I never expected Sammy to be HW positive. He not even that old. The treatment comes in 2 more visits, next Mon it's almost 350, in May it's almost 600. I just to have enough time to rebuild my finances.
