Samson is a 15-year-old Domestic Long Hair Cat in Ashburn, VA, who needs $2,000 for Tonsillectomy.

Samson is about 15, give or take a few years given that I rescued him and I don't know the exact age. He was rescued from Canton Animal Shelter in Canton, IL back in 2013. I adopted Samson when I was young and he has been by my side since. He has made several moves with me including to Western Illinois University and across the country to Northern Virginia.

Samson and I are attached like glue. Any time that I am home, he is near me, as you can tell in the pictures. Samson sleeps in my bed every night, usually under the covers to keep warm. Samson is the friendliest and most well behaved kitty I have ever met, he loves to cuddle and get pets behind the ear.
Samson is stable with Hyperthyroidism, but that hasn't stopped him from being very active!

Samson is special because he is an all around perfect cat. He cuddles and purrs all day long. He plays just like a kitten and it is unbelievable adorable. He also knows how to get my attention by taking his paw and rubbing his face to let me know he wants pets. Samson is special because he has gone through everything with me and has adapted more than any other animal I have ever had.

In 2017, Samson went into liver failure, but survived. In early 2022, he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, but it is stable and he is doing so well. Samson now has a mass on his tonsil that is troubling him to eat. He has used up some of his 9 lives in the past, but I believe he still has a long life to live. This is a sudden expense that I unfortunately cannot afford. I just finished school and just started a new job. It was recommended to have this removed sooner than later and I just don't have the funds to do it.
