I rescued Samson went his original owners wanted to give him up as they preferred smaller dogs and as a companion for my self ( therapy ) as all 3 of my boys had just passed away within 9 months of each other , Loki was the last and bone cancer took him from me , then Samson came into my life just 3 months later when I was still grieving . He gets along great with my rescue lab mix Thenabean

Samson loves to sleep at the side of my bed , unless the wood stove is going of course . He loves playing ball or his own version of soccer with 4 paws, but his favorite either tug or a game we call toro . Where he grabs his blanket and just starts swinging it around covering his head , myself and any one else . Not to mention the big ole hugs he loves to give me

I am on a really tight fixed income due to me being on worksmans compensation after just having major spinal surgery thats related to and accident from 2017 . Right now i am getting around with a walker & the help of Samson . Physical therapy will last approx 6-9 months min

Samson was just diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left ankle and the xrays are already showing signs of the bone breaking down . There recommendation ( 2 vet opinions) is amputation ( as the leg is already swelling when he walks to much ) and then chemo and another treatment . His dr's is Dr.Bladek @Newton Veterinary Hospital

His favorite treat is freeze dried chicken strips by far. He loves the snow ( what rottie doesn't) he'll sit in it for hrs then bury his ace in it like a snowman. But his favorite is watching the butterflies/ bees in the spring and every now and then you can catch him barking at the hummingbirds as they dart from flower to flower .He has been my rock since I broke my back in 2017 &surgery 2wks ago
