Sandy is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in hartford, CT, who needs $2,000 for Major Teeth Extraction Surgery and After Care.

My pet's name is Sandy. He is 12 years old and was found on my doorstep as a tiny little kitten during hurricane Sandy which is how he got his name. At first we thought he was a girl but when he received his first shots, the vet told us that he was a boy. We kept the name because it had a meaning to us. He loves to snuggle and getting treats. He has been a blessing in our lives.

Sany was taken to Vet for Pets animal clinic for a respiratory infection due to an infection caused by his teeth. He needed a full extraction of his teeth and had to stay overnight because he was getting distressed and had to be put in an oxygen chamber to help calm him down. During surgery a tooth went up to his sinus and now he needs his pallet cut to get the tooth out and have a feeding tube.

Sandy is very friendly but does take his time warming up to other people but once he trusts you, you will be his forever friend. He loves being petted especially behind his ears. He gets along with dogs and will think he's part of the pack. Sometimes he doesn't meow as loud as other cats but it sounds more like a whispering meow which we always thought was cute.

After taking Sandy to the vet I was able to cover some of the expenses but I have emptied out my account and credit cards. He will need medication and more care that as of now I cannot afford. His surgery turned unexpectedly that I wasn't ready for. Please help my baby.
