Sara is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Ripley , OH, who needs $800 for Dental Surgery.

I rescued Sweet Sara from a breeding facility that felt like she was becoming too old to breed. She is 8 yrs. old, and I have had her for about 4 months now. I was allowed to have her at no cost provided that I have her spayed. I had her spayed soon after I got her. I was able to secure a voucher for the procedure from a local animal rescue organization.

Recently, a friend of mine who does grooming met Sara and told me that she's got several bad teeth, and she told me that it would be best for Sara if I had them removed. She said that many of her teeth are already loose.

I lost 2 dogs in the past year, and little Sara is the only dog I have now I am retired and on Social Security, which will make it very difficult to pay for the dental work for this sweet little girl. I lost my husband 3 years ago to COVID, and Sara means so very much to me. I would be heartbroken if I lost her because of not being able to afford her dental surgery.

As I have mentioned, my income is considerably less than what it was prior to my husband's death. I live in a mobile home which I am purchasing on a land contract, and I have a disabled son who resides with me. He, too, is extremely attached to Sara.
