Sasha is a precious Tsvetnaya Russian Bolonka, also known as a Russian lap dog. Born on October 4, 2009, she has a heart full of love and the most adorable wavy fur that makes her irresistibly cuddly. She’s hypoallergenic and doesn’t shed, which makes her even more lovable. Sasha’s journey with us began when she was 5 years old, joining our family as a sweet companion to her brother, Stoli.

For 15 wonderful years, Stoli and Sasha were healthy, bringing joy to our lives. But over time, health challenges arose. Both had major dental surgeries, costing $8,000. Stoli now has a collapsing trachea, and two weeks ago, Sasha was diagnosed with lung carcinoma. Despite this, Sasha remains lively, so we chose chemotherapy at $1,200 a month instead of just palliative care.

Sasha is the ultimate cuddler, often found in my daughter's lap. Both dogs are incredibly friendly, always loving the people they meet on walks. They even have their own "language," especially when cheering for their favorite football team, the Gators! It took a couple of years for them to become best friends, but now they’re inseparable, always snuggling together, whether sitting or sleeping.
