Sassy is a 12-year-old Mini Schnauzer in Loveland , CO, who needs $1,000 for Dental K9 extraction.

Sassy’s mom was put into a memory care facility on Sept 21st 2020. Sassy has adjusted to her new family very well and she is a love bug! Sassys is crate trained and feels secure in her crate . She loves her little dog bed in two of her big brothers room where she sleeps each night. Sassy loves to run around the back yard and bark at squirrels!

Sassy lived with an elderly woman her entire life and was very loved but didn’t play very often. She is slowing figuring out how to play with her new family members. She gets the zoomies every morning after potty time. Sassy doesn’t like to be picked up, but LOVES pets and kisses! She is a sweetie pie!

We have taken Sassy in to love and care for her. We are a one income, self employed household and things are tight financially. We are also helping to provide Sassy’s mom the things she needs while in the memory care facility as we are her power of attorney.

Sassy was loved for over 12 years by an elderly woman but she didn’t get much medical attention. Sassy’s recent blood work shows she is surprisingly as healthy as can be with the exception to her teeth. Sassy desperately needs most of her teeth pulled as they are broken and infected. She has a lovely vet at Loveland Vet clinic who has provided the estimate of work.

It is so fun to see sassy learning how to play! She loves to play a type of pattycake with her paws when she is full of energy. Sassy gets too excited sometimes and jumps the entire set of 3 stairs. She has a little lamb squeaky toy that she is slowing learning to play with. We have attempted fetch, but sassy doesn’t seem very interested.
