On Friday, August 2nd, 2024, Sativa(7), a self trained and officially ADA registered Psychiatric Service/Therapy Dog, started to show signs of incontinence and discomfort while urinating. The next couple of days, she was lethargic and would not eat or drink. She was seen by a local veterinary clinic that drained her bladder with a catheter through her lower abdomen. Possibly poisoned.
