About this campaign

When Savannah came into my life at 3 months old, I initially thought it would be a foster type situation one summer. My son was gonna be spending the summer in Arizona with his Nana and I thought she'd be a nice distraction. The foster situation went out the door immediately and now she's 10. Even though my life has always been all over the place I could never let her go.

Savannah has tummy problems. She often vomits, sometimes she has diarrhea. I can see in her eyes she is unwell. I took her to the San Francisco SPCA and they ran tests and took xrays. There was a mass found in her intestine; however, it's unclear. Could be cancerous but could also be that she has irritable bowel disease. Savannah needs to have an ultrasound to help better determine our next steps.

Savannah has always been such a joy in my life. She's so sweet, social, and friendly. She's made friends with other cats, dogs, and even tortoises even if they didn't want to be her friend. The other day my brother was so surprised to see her come up to his 9 month old son when he laid him down on my bed. He grabbed at her like babies do and she didn't even flinch. That's her, always so gentle.

I've been dealing with physical/mental health issues. I was too proud to acknowledge it completely till I realized how bad it got. I've been working on myself and getting better but Savannah gets worse. This isn't her fault. It's mine. I have to make it right for her.
