Scar is a barn rescue and has been with me since she was about one month old. She is my only pet and truly my best friend. My daughter named her when she was five, and it has always been special to us. Scar brings so much light into our home, and I can’t imagine life without her.

Scar has recently been experiencing bleeding/discharge from her rear area. She has not been grooming herself as usual and has been noticeably less active and more withdrawn. She has been spending long periods resting and occasionally changing positions every few hours. Her behavior has changed, and she has not been acting like herself. With job loss I am panicking to get the funds to help her.

Scar is a very chill and quiet cat. She enjoys her snuggles but also loves being independent. Most of her time is spent bird watching from the window . She’s very curious.

Currently I have been struggling to find a job given I have a transportation barrier. With living in the middle of nowhere and no family/friends I have been stuck with having to figure things out on my own.
