Scarlett is a 8 year old Rottweiler in Fremont, OH, who needs $2,000 for ACL Surgery.

Scarlett was originally dropped off at our local pound. Whoever left her did it in the middle of the night so there's no way of telling her previous situation. We just happened to meet her when we volunteered to go walk some of the dogs and we couldn't leave without her. We knew she was perfect for our family and our other rottweiler Nala.

We noticed Scarlett limping a little so we took her to our vet, Westview Veterinary Clinic, in Fremont, Ohio. She seemed to show the signs of arthritis but after some xrays, it was shown that she had torn both of her ACLs. We think it happened by slipping on ice outside.

Scarlett is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. She LOVES attention and just always being by someone's side at all times. Even with 2 torn acls, it's nearly impossible to crush her spirit. As long as she has her toys and someone to pet her, she's the happiest dog on the planet.

The last couple months have been rough to say the least. At the same time Scarlett was diagnosed with the ACL tears, our other dog, Nala, was diagnosed with bone cancer. In literally the same exact appointment. Between the two dogs, we are honestly drowning in bills.
