Scoobie is a 9 year old Dachshund in Campton, NH, who needs $2,000 for Dental Extraction.

Scooby was taken on the three years ago from a family member that I could no longer take care of him. He is happier and doing better mentally except for his teeth. His health is good. The person who owned him before moved around and was homeless several times. We are just trying to give him a better life.

At the time we took him in his teeth were bad and he had stinky breath. Throughout the last couple years, his teeth have decayed and are rotting. He is in a lot of pain and we need to extract his teeth as soon as possible. He has lost weight in the last year and now only weighs 12 pounds. Right now we are managing his pain with Bayer and soft food

He once was a service dog. when I took him and he retired. Even though he is technically retired he still is very much trained or PTSD anxiety depression. He helps me through each day last year. We put our 17-year-old cat down who did not like any other animals. He won her over and was there through her passing. Everybody he meets absolutely loves him.

One year ago, I injured my back at work. I’ve only been able to work part-time while My Wife has been paying all of our bills. We moved in with family to try to save money recently. Five months ago, he had to pay it a lot of money for our cat who ended up with cancer.
