Scooby is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Mendota Heights, MN, who needs $2,000 for Total Ear Canal Ablation( TECA).

On a snowy Presidents day in February 2018, my 9 year old and 7 year old children braved the snow storm to visit Humane Society For Companion Animals, organization I supported and fundraised for since late 1990... We left with little terrier bundle, who was only two month old and supposedly was returned twice due to some personality issues and the fun had began!

Within first year and a half he developed allergies that turned into severe chronic ear infections. Due to nature of his strong resource guarding tendencies, treating him was a struggle from day one and permanent solution is doing total ear ablation. I currently have appointment at Iowa University School of Veterinary in November to proceed with TECA in hopes of cure.

While he is not cuddly one and has independent, strong personality, he is the baby of the family. He loves his mum, tolerates his siblings (human and feline alike), adores grandparents. He can be a thief and mischief and sometimes really difficult to handle but the second you come home, and he runs toward you with gift in his month (most likely dirty sock) we would not have it any other way.

In 2019 two family members were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that caused lost months of income and medical expenses in 2019. His mom broke leg first week of Covid ( March) that required 2 surgeries and TECA can be really expensive up to 15,000K.
