Scooby is a 2-year-old Terrier Mixed in North chesterfield, VA, who needs $600 for Dog Splint.

I recently lost my grandmother and that’s when my dog came into my life. I brought him from someone that I Know. His name is scooby and he means the world to me. Scooby is like my emotional support dog. He’s literally my best friend. My favorite thing about him is when he comforts me when I’m sad.

Scooby is a very loving dog. He’s very playful and energetic. He loves playing with toys his favorite toy is a tennis ball. He also loves water. He has a friend which is my neighbors dog. They play together almost everyday. Scooby wouldn’t even hurt a fly. He loves belly rubs those are his favorite.

He is special to me because I got him around the time that I lost my grandmother. He has comforted me and made my grieving a little easier.He makes me laugh . He loves all the attention on him. He kind of acts like a human too . I enjoy playing fetch with him. I also enjoy bathing him he sits still

I let him outside to use the bathroom. He usually runs around outside the neighborhood. When he came back to the house I noticed he was walking funny. The vet was closed around the time that this happened. I tried to treat it myself by wrapping it up but that caused it to swell up . I took him to the vet and his bill is $600.I was told it would be $50 for his diagnosis that’s why I took him.

I’m currently unemployed. I was doordashing but my account got deactivated on June 1st 2022 I tried to appeal it but it was denied. I have been going on interviews but I have been getting turned down. Anything would help I really need my dog back healthy to his normal self.
