About this campaign

We bought Scotch from a breeder when she just 10 weeks old, and then 2 years later her cousin, Guinness, was bought at 8 weeks old. They are inseparable and love chasing each other and playing tug of war.

Scotch is a giant pampered baby, and sleeps in bed with us. Loves walks, and chasing other dogs at the park. Talks in series of whines and growls, that is if she doesn’t just sit on your lap like a human or “gently” nudging your hand with her nose. She loves splashing in the creek, since she’s too tall to swim. She is opportunistic when it comes to stealing food that is carelessly left too low!

Scotch is pretty protective of our whole family, and loves running around the yard with her cousin, Guinness. She’s scared of thunder, rain, fireworks, power tools, any place that isn’t home or the dog park, and the air fryer. She’s too big to fit under the bed but will hide behind our couch or stick her snout under the bed to hide from whatever is the problem.

Unfortunately in the process of playing she injured her knee some time ago. Rested and had some medication, and ultimately was ok. More recently she injured her knee again, and it requires a surgery to repair. North Star Veterinary Hospital took great care of her during her consult, but ultimately it is a very expensive procedure.

The procedure Scotch needs is very expensive, but necessary for her quality of life, and short/long term health. She’s a young dog still, and has plenty of life and fun left in her.
