Scout was an older stray at the local animal shelter. She was anxious and sad but she stole my heart. I noticed some lumps and bumps when I adopted her but I resolved to give her the best life possible. Scout is definitely my girl. She is always by my side. She loves walks and trips to the dog park. Now that she's been with me for two years, the anxiety is gone. She feels safe and loved in her forever home. But two years is not enough time. I want to help her get fully healthy. She has survived the removal of one malignant tumor. Thankfully the cancer has not spread but there is one more tumor removal and radiation treatment to go.
