Scout is a 5 year old German Shepherd Dog in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy.

We got Scout as a puppy from Pahrump. It was 2020, my boyfriend and I wanted a furry friend to accompany us during this weird time. He was born on September 2020 and we picked him up on November 2020 and has had him since. He's been to California and Utah, and hopefully many more in the future.

A healthy boy with little vet visits throughout the year. Until July 2025, he started retching/reverse sneezing that resulted in a vet visit. Fast forward to September, a growth was seen on his right tonsil, biopsied at Southern Hills Animal Hospital. Turns out to be oral squamous cell carcinoma. He is being treated for cancer at Vegas Valley Pet Hospital and will start chemo this month.

He's such a sweet boy, who doesn't really know his size. He is very smart and silly at the same time. He knows what "clean your ears" mean, which will prompt him to cuddle dad so he can be saved from it. He also knows to brush his teeth, and will sit by the sink to get his teeth brushed. He knows the words "ride, walk, outside, treat, water" very well. He's my special guy.

Our boy is healthy with no major conditions up until today. We are not prepared for the bills that are coming in one after the other, for us to find a solution to help prolong his life. We are asking for assistance to help save our best friend.
