Scout is a 2 year old American Bulldog in Lewisville, NC, who needs $4,000 for MRI.

After losing our last dog (of 14 years), we spent three years preparing for the right time to adopt again. We bought a new house with a big yard, fenced it in, and began searching shelters and humane societies and found Scout! Scout is a mixed American bulldog and is 2 years old.

We immediately noticed issues with Scout's back legs. Our vet suspected hip dysplasia and recommended waiting a year to neuter him so his remaining testosterone could support joint and muscle development. We did the neuter and had X-rays done. Instead of hip dysplasia, we learned two vertebrae in his neck were fused, which could explain the problem.

Scout is the happiest dog I have ever met. He has never met a stranger (human or animal). He loves love and play. Scout can lay around just as well as play hard. He is always happy to please.

Scout needs an MRI to provide the needed answers. As difficult as it is to ask, we are seeking help from our community. Please help us give Scout the best chance at the full, happy life he deserves.
