June 2, 2026 Scrappy suddenly after running downstairs began to limp. His Vet Shively Animal Hospital examination revealed a tore right hind leg CCL. With him being 75 pounds TPLO
(tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) is his only true method of recovery. Without it He runs the risk of blowing the other knee due to compensation to the right leg injury. Large dogs require the surgery to recover.
