Poor Scrump Urgently Needs Relief

Scrump is only 6 years old, but the condition he’s in tells a much harder story.

Adopted from a shelter near Austin just a year ago, he should have known comfort, healing, and care. Instead, he’s arrived in nearly the same state, if not worse. Scrump has endured so much: both of his eyes had to be removed, likely due to untreated infections. His ears are still severely infected and painful, his skin is inflamed and damaged, and even his nails had grown into his paw pads, causing infection.

He’s now on antibiotics and receiving medicated baths, finally getting some relief. But his journey is far from over. Scrump needs specialized care, including a veterinary dermatologist, to truly begin healing.

Despite everything, he’s here. And that all that matters.
