Sebastian came into my life when he was 4 months old. He will be 15 years old in May 2025. I got Sebastian after my previous Siamese passed away at the age of 20 years old. My first Siamese had Kidney Disease and Hyperthyroidism. I never would have though that Sebastian would also end up with Kidney Disease and Hyperthyroidism as well, but here we are.

As Sebastian continues to battle advanced kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, his medical needs are ongoing. Sebastian was hospitalized at the vet in February 2025, for three days, on a constant fluid drip to remove the toxins from his body. When he came home, he was doing great. However, he stopped eating again, and another vet visit is required for an exam and bloodwork.

Sebastian is a nearly 15-year-old Siamese cat with normally a big personality. He has a sweet, affectionate nature and brings so much joy to my life. Despite his health struggles, he remains strong and loving. He’s more than just a pet—he’s family.

I lost my job and, despite actively applying for new positions, I haven’t secured one yet. Sebastian needs a follow-up vet visit due to not eating, and for bloodwork to check for anemia, thyroid levels, and phosphorus and potassium levels.
