Sebastian is a 5 month old Golden Retriever in Nine Mile Falls , WA, who needs $6,000 for Cricopharyngeal Myotomy.

Sebastian came in to my care/home when he was a puppy. His owner/breeder had surrendered him to the clinic that I work at, as he was ill thriving and small. He could not keep food down and was aspirating on water and food, along with being malnourished. I decided to take him on, in hopes that we could determine the reason for all of issues he faced.

Sebastian was diagnosed with cricopharyngeal achalasia, which is a rare congenital swallowing disorder. This has caused nutritional
deficiencies, & at 4 months he is only 12 lbs. He had refeeding syndrome, two rounds of aspiration pneumonia, and now received a trial of Botox injections to be able to swallow, which was successful! He now needs a surgery at a specialist to be able to live normally

Sebastian is well loved by myself and all of the staff at my clinic. We have worked so hard to see him thrive and survive. He has a fight to survive and I want to give him every opportunity to. He has already gained 3 lbs, just 6 days after his injection.

Thanks to my wonderful veterinarian we have given him a chance. She took on giving him the Botox injections with no prior experience or knowledge in hopes of him having a chance. Most of this at no cost to me. She however cannot do the surgery & I was quoted about $5000-6000
