About this campaign

Sergeant was rescued four years ago when he was found with. small terrier as his companion roaming the streets of South L.A. They looked to be abandoned and we reached out to the Westside German Shepherd Rescue and other rescues to find their owners. Sergeant turned out to be a stolen pet at 8 months old , the original owners took on other pets and couldn't take him back he is now our cat guardian

Sergeant is great with ll pets, he is our cat guardian as he interacts and lives peacefully with our cat foster population as well as with other foster dogs we take on. He interacts with people extremely well unless....they are trying to hurt mum and dad but he is a sweet and noble doggo! Sergeant is a young happy dog at 6 and deserves a happy life

As mentioned before Sergeant is the cat guardian of the rescue and he and our smaller poodle mix dog (also a rescue) provide our foster cats with a sense of being around dogs (big and small) and help our cats acclimate around canines. Sergeant is full of life and energy and we would love to provide that for him as much as possible thats why we want give up on him!

Sergeant had a massive tumor removed between his small and large intestines. The pathology resulted in him having lymphoma- we are in need of rising funds to treat him with chemotherapy as that is the best option to defeat the cancerous cells. We want to give Sergeant a fighting chance to continue being the cat guardian of Loris Angels Animal Rescue

Running a rescue is consuming in every way from mental, physical to financial and since Sergeant is an integral part of our family and the rescue and the fact that he is only 6 y/o and his first 2 years of life were cramped in a crate from evil owners, he deserves a full life
